Thank you for getting in touch with us. I’m Alison one of the Cancer Information Nurses who works on the support line here at Macmillan.
A low temperature can be a sign of sepsis, so it’s important that your friend is assessed today. They should have been given a contact number to call with any issues during treatment. If they can’t get hold of anyone, please don’t hesitate to call 111, or 999 if their condition is worsening.
