PIP

My work currently pay full time sick pay for 3 months a rolling year, after this it drops down to 66%.

I've used two months of this following rectal cancer op.

I'm due back tomorrow on a phased return.

They've suggested I look at claiming for PIP.

I've checked and I need to ring the Helpline for my post code but it says on the website I need to be experiencing this for three months?

I got told on my first colonoscopy it was cancer (Oct 25), I got official confirmation in Nov 25 and had the op week before Xmas.

The consultant is hopeful for a bag reversal and quoted 3 - 12 months post surgery plus recovery time for the 2nd operation.

Which date would you use?

Just need some help, hints, clarity on this if at all possible.

Kind regards

Martin
