Heather Y It seems perhaps your post hasn't been completed? It is wonderful to hear your husband is in remission, but you have typed "however is still not right to". I am wondering if perhaps he has ongoing medical challenges? Your husband may feel that exploring his fitness to travel with his GP is an option, or, contacting our Cancer Information Nurses here on the Support Line. They don't have anyone's medical records, but, can guide you in regards to medical queries prior to taking a trip. You may pop into our Online Nurse Forum, or contact our Nurses on 0808 808 0000 on any day from 8am to 8pm. Another option is our Nurse live web chat, also between 8am and 8pm everyday.
In terms of holiday insurance, there are a couple of ways to find insurers for your particular situation. One is to chat with others on the Online Community about how they have approached getting insurance. There are various discussions but also the Travel insurance forum for cancer patients'
You could also contact Find Insurance - BIBA who can help to search for insurance brokers suited to your particular situation. On their website they also have a Travel Medical Insurance Directory where you can search yourself for insurers for your particular medical situation.
