Thanks for your enquiry. I’m so sorry to hear about your Mum’s diagnosis.
In relation to travel insurance for your Mum if she is an Australian resident she will need to take out cover in Australia for her trip to the UK. Unfortunately this isn’t something we can provide guidance on as we are a UK based charity.
A second thing you might want to consider is any reciprocal healthcare arrangements that exist between the UK and Australia. You can find some details of arrangements in place here.
