Hi

Please could I have some advice for my claim which has been declined; the company have told me I should have stated I had a pending and routine appointment (I am 50+). This turned out to show breast cancer. I had no GP involvement due to no lump, symptoms, etc.

I was not asked about appointments and had declared recent 'medical investigations' with my vertigo that resulted in tests and an MRI scan - all negative.

I would like to appeal but am I wasting my time?

Thanks

    Hello

    Thanks for getting in touch.

An appeal could be possible, but we’d need to talk further about your situation to discuss the possible courses of action you can take.

We’d like to talk to you further about this, would you be comfortable with giving us a call so we can talk about what’s happened in more detail?

We can then discuss the appeals process, how it works, next steps, how comfortable you’d feel following it and any other support we can provide.

Our freephone number is 0808 808 0000 and if you press options 1, 2 and then 1 you will get through to the right team. We’re available to talk to between 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind regards,

    Liam.
