This is a strange question but how does everyone keep their fishtank cool in this weather? I have switched the heater off and have a fan blowing on it, but the water still gets very hot. It is not a big tank but I want to keep the fish in the healthy temperature range.
Thanks
Lee
Hi Lee
I have tropical tetras and a pleco.
I keep the light off. Have an air stone. Do more regular partial water changes. I move the filter up so that it is just above water level to create more movement/agitation at the surface. I also do the normal things like closing the curtains/blinds nearby- taking the lid off and also have a fan next to the tank. My water has remained within the right range.
