Missing my dog...

I am sorry that your dog passed away and it is only natural to miss such a friend. Pets really are part of the family and such an important part of life. They provide such companionship and by our sides throughout everything. I still miss my dog who went many years ago now and I also have many happy memories of family dogs when growing up. 

I now have 3 cats. 2 are elderly now and I just hope and pray that they have a few more years left.

Sorry about your dog passing. Mine passed 2 years ago now. I miss her terribly. It's been 1 year since I 'started feeling ill' and I really wish she was still here. I'd love another one but everyone thinks I'm selfish for even considering it  

Hi Gigi85 I am sorry you lost your dog.  Why on earth would people think you selfish for getting another one?  You need to do what you feel is right for you .  I have incurable cancer and have four dogs the are my constant companions.

I guess they think they'll be stuck with it if the worst happens to me. I'm single and now out of work. My kids are growing up and at school/finishing school. I guess having the companionship aswel
