My mother has been 99% diagnosed with cervical cancer, 99% as she refuses to have a biopsy.
She is in her 90s, she is aware she has a thicken of the lining of her womb which is why she has water retention in her tummy, she does not know it's cancer.
My MIL lives with us and is 90yrs old. She has cervical cancer but doesn't know. We have had a call from McMillan nurse now don't know own what to do !!
I have had all the treatment available and am having 6 monthly MRI scans 7 years post diagnosis. I don't work or drive but I am independent and doing everything else. Diagnosed 18/12/09, treatment commenced 18/1/10. Treatment completed 24/2/11.
Two months ago I was told I had cancerous cells. My tumour is at the base of my oesophagus. I am embarking on a tough programme of treatments. I would like to share the ups and downs and even the joys of this journey with my fellow 'Chemos'
