Hi All, I've just been diagnosed with breast cancer, Friday 17/11 /2017, after a biopsy 2 weeks ago, hearing you have cancer it feels like a dream,I went numb in shock!! Did I hear it right! After the harsh words I'm trying to get my head around it
Just letting off steam. Feeling really tired. After 6 months of treatment my husband seems to have had a melt down even though his treatment is showing reduction in his cancer.
Mastectomy and immediate reconstruction by diep at St Thomas hospital. Anybody had experience of this and thoughts? Is it worth it? Are you happy with the result? Please could you tell me your experience. How long does it take to get over the surgery?

I was at work one day, the next I was told I had cancer, Leukemia with no immune system. I am a an active person doing mountain biking and running, entering events like Jane Thomlinson and race for life, now I can hardly walk out the door.
Sadly I lost my mum ages 47 5 months ago to sepsis. I was there when she took her last breath. I knew she was not going to make it through the night when I saw her during the day. To this day i keep getting flash backs off that last night.
