    My hubby has been in remission from Lung Cancer for over 4 months but he is now getting his symptons back and I am very worried.

    Recently diagnosed with GBM4, Had the operation and over 90% removed. All looks pretty good right now. Will begin radiation and chemo soon at the University of Alabama (UAB) Medical Hospital.

    Oncologist suggested I have 5FU and Oxaliplatin chemotherapy starting on 27th June for 6 months. I've had stage 3 bowel cancer with 1 lymph node affected. 3A and T3 was mentioned but am not sure what this means.

  • Hair Loss

    5FU and Oxaliplatin Has anybody lost their hair with this type of chemotherapy. I have to decide by Monday whether to accept the chemo., but don't want to if the hair will go. Stage 3 cancer with 1 lymph node affected. Is it worth having chemo.
  • THE WORST SIDE AFFECT

    What is the worst side affect anybody has had on OXALIPLATIN and 5FU chemotherapy for bowel cancer. Was anybody able to work at least part time?
