Does anyone know the science behind the use of black/dark varnish to prevent nail loss ? Works for some not others, why is this ?? Should i just paint them anyway just in case ??

Past 2 days I've noticed a swelling around my collar bone, I stopped takin tamozipan a few days ago as I took it for 8 weeks and felt really poorly on them, I wondered if anyone had similar, I have breast cancer .
I know I might come across as completely stupid, but my husband who has cancer, which is not curable asked me today, if his cancer is not curable, can it go into remission? If anyone knows the answer, I would be grateful to hear it. Angie x
