  • Maxillary sinus cancer

    I have been diagnosed with maxillary sinus cancer (squamous cell) on the left side of my face. The cancer has spread into my jaw, palate and gums. I am scheduled to have major resectioning of my face next Friday, the 20th.

    I was diagnosed with stage 3 and had the Whipple op in Feb 2014, spent 8 days in hospital and took 4 months for the wound to heal, pain, nausea all controlled by drugs.

    Now 2 months into 6 months of chemo, tired, nauseous and thinning hair but the wig is better then my real hair ever was, lost 2 stone in weight, have been trying to loose weight for years. All positive, I hope I am a survivor, time will tell.
  • what was everyones ultra sound grading B1-B5- was it cancerous please help

    My doctor said they graded me based off the lump they found and I was a B4 waiting for biospy results!

    Can anyone help me. I have developed peripheral nerve damage from tax chemo. At the moment I I feel so useless unable to get out of bed as I fear I will fall.
  • 4 months since LWE and SNB but still in pain is this normal?

    Hi cannot believe that after this time breast is still really sore I finished radiotherapy sixweeks ago. Is there anyone else who can reassure me this is ok? Thank you. X
