Well it was a shock, but here i am dealing with breast cancer.... i used to think if something like that happened to me, i wouldn’t be able to cope... but im coping, and learning that im stronger than i think:)
A few thoughts on my journey, as my wife battles a Stage IV Glioblastoma. The emotional ups and downs, the hours of being on hold whilst attempting to get benefits including PIP, Carers Allowance, a Blue Badge etc. and the importance of making memories.
My mum just been diagnosed with small Cell Lung Cancer. Early days last Wednesday we had the dreaded news. Never expected it to be that bad. She has 2/3 months without Chemotherapy or 6 months if she is lucky with Chemo.
My dad underwent Lung Removal after the new year 2019 and is currently seeking for anyone who has had loss of vocal use after Lung Removal, help him find advice on how to deal with it or know if anyone else has had the same problem.
