    Hi, my father has been diagnosed with advanced oesophageal cancer and it is inoperable! Spread to lymph nodes & metastasis in his pelvis - but no symptoms with this at the moment - all happened in 6 weeks!

    Morning to everyone out there. Had my ct scan and MRI scan on Monday. Time for the waiting game again. Is it normal to just wish you'd never found what was wrong- could have been getting on with life as normal without a care in the world!
  • Fluid on lung

    I have been unwell foe 3/4 weeks with an virus which is causing me to be breathless. I'm waiting for oncology to decide what they are going to do. In the meantime, I am feeling crap & not able to a lot. Has anyone else had this problem?

    My mum had a mastectomy last Friday. Mum had her drain out 5 days after her op.Tonight she has a large build up of fluid where her breast was. She has also been suffering with severe headaches. Has anyone got any advice on what to do?

    Hi all my daughter has just been diagnosed stage 1a mm,she had the biopsy 8 weeks ago,went back yesterday for 3 more biopsies and when they saw her they where surprised she had not had the wide excision done where the mm had been found,how long is wait

    Wednesday 30th July I got the phone call "your granda has cancer of the liver & its spread to the bowel, theres not much can be done for him, sorry you have to hear this over the phone" how do you deal with news like this??
  • Advise on recovery times needed

    My partner finished his chemotherapy 6 weeks ago following diagnosis and an operation for colon cancer. He thought he would be feeling better by now but isn't Any advise, comments would be gratefully received :)
