  • my dad has cancer, but refuses to accept how ill he is

    My dad is in his mid 70s and has had lymphoma on and off for 6 years,he has been told he has between 2 and 12 months left of his life. yet he seems to think he's going to beat this again, he will not accept any outside support,

    I have Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukaemia - apparently pretty rare. According to Dr Blood (obviously not hos real name) there is currently no treatment, and there's very little info online. Anyone else out there in the ether with CMML?

  • Now what happens?

    My dad saw the specialist yesterday after his PET scan/ultra sound scan of his liver as there was a shadow and it has been confirmed it has spread he was due to start chemo today but they have put a stop to any treatment I do not know what to expect.

    could anybody tell me what the next stages now that my dads gullet cancer has spread to his liver and he is unable to have any treatment due to his kidneys.I would like to know what to expect as I prefer to know rather than not know.
