He's in surgery now

Less than one minute read time.

It started in mid May when he went to the GP due to some neurological symptoms like unsteadiness, forgetfulness, and spatial awareness having bumped the car twice in a week and forgetting the layout of a familiar store.

Scan revealed brain tumor which was removed in early June.

It was a metastasis but found there was only 1 in his whole body.

Colonoscopy investigating thickening in bowel detected on scan (asymptomatic and negative fit tests) revealed tumor in upper sigmoid colon.

Fast forward to early August and he's currently having an anterior resection.

His main gripes are not having a driving licence for 2 years at least due to brain metastasis, and possibly coming out of surgery with a stoma. Or complications like LARS.

Also he is convinced he will have a very much shortened life.

Lets see what happens next.
