Another tiring day but positive ending

1 minute read time.

Visiting is from 1 and ward round allegedly 8-9, so i rang him at 9.15 , got binged off and rang back at 9.45 to be told " I don't really want to talk now, I will ring you later"

Now remember that I don't even know what happened in the op, (it was tbc when they opened him but hopefully anastomosis and no stoma).

After speaking with lovely young Lilly doctor that we met on pre-admission I found out they tried an astomosis but it failed and so did a stoma. Bill lost a lot of blood in the op and passed out getting off a chair this morning.

Went in with Amy(daughter )but out after 5 minutes as he didn't want to speak.

I know it's a big shock and he's processing it. Also pain.

Saw Kim for the first time in months which was lovely and we didn't talk about Bill.

Went back later expecting to sit in silence as he said not to expect him to talk but I wanted to be there for him in body at least.

He was more the normal person.

And a bit philosophical.

Mo (son) has been lovely on the phone and voice of reason and I know Bill will get his head round it all in time.

Katy (other daughter) is going in tomorrow and he pretty much always talks to her too.

Jack (other son)has his headspace in baby land.(2 months old)
