Breast cancer

Hi I am in limbo I have part kidney removed due to cancer about 2 years ago which was a total shock then 6 weeks ago had to have a breast removed the big C again just waiting to have other one removed due to family history I have daughters which worries me sick when I hear people talk of cancer I can’t associate myself having it not once but twice it’s like I can’t get it to register in my head I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing

  • I think we all feel a bit like that after being diagnosed. I have the same cancer that my lovely mum died of in 1959. when there wasn't much treatment. . I'm 80 now and thought I had escaped it but obviously not so it was a bit of a shock. I hope all goes well for you with further treatment.
