low white blood count

Less than one minute read time.

The taxol has actually been fine,I have had few side effects, not even the peripheral neuropathy. The only thing was my blood count plummeted and I ended up in hospital with some stupid infection. Now they've got me on the injections to get the white blood cells up and actually I feel worse after them then I do after the weekly taxol!Still I've had 10 out of 12 so nearly over and my hair seems to be growing back(grey! please no,it wasn't grey before!!)After that it's radio and of course the ongoing herceptin.

A woman at my daughter's school keeps telling me I look tired! Don't you just love it,are we supposed to look glowing?!

    Hi Miki,

You will find your Radio a bit better but it does make you very tired. But you will cope,so dont worry.

I liked Tiggs Joke about the woman very appropriate.

Take care and be safe Big hugs Love Sarsfield.xxx

Yes, I know the feeling of growing back grey, I dyed it as soon as possible lol.

I remember when my daughter was a toddler. She has red hair, but I am brown and her dad was black. One lady who lived down the street from us asked me every time I passed where she got her red hair from, was her dad red headed. My dad got really annoyed with it and as we passed one day he asked her was your dad grey haired. I was mortified, but found it so funny at the same time.

Some people are just so insensitive.

Hope you finish the rest of your treatment without too many side effects.

    Best wishes, Christine xx
