Here it is in glorious color. I was nauseous after insertion although i didnt feel any pain when they were shoving the tube down… !!! Just an awful sensation. Within an hour i was okay and apart from some repositioning needed when sleeping , i can cope until they TAKE IT OUT..!!! On a more reasoned note , i can see the purpose as it is quick and effiecient when trying to access veins to transfuse large volumes of blood . You wouldn’t want a normal tube to block during that process. You dont feel the blood circulating either and the science in the machine the line is attached to is genius, in that it can decipher good and bad cells.
