Good News.

Less than one minute read time.
So I had my appointment in Liverpool Occular Oncology Centre, after what seemed like a life time waiting, having drops put in my eyes, photos taken, scans done and what not I was told I could go home. The Doctor believes it is just a mole in my eye. I will have to go back and fore my local hospital regularly for check ups and to make sure there are no changes in colour, size or shape of my mole... and will have these check ups for the rest of my life but at this stage I need no further treatment. I want to thank all you lovely people for the support you gave me in a very scary and dark 5weeks of my life. I dont think my life will ever be the same, every year when its check up time, I know I will worry. Also now I have decided to go in to Oncology nursing, which I may never have realised I wanted to do had it not been for this experience. Thank you for everything, and I hope you all get your happy ending Love Wreckless xxxx

So pleased for you.  Good luck with the nursing.  Just goes to show that good things can sometimes come out of bad.  Best wishes for the future, Christine xx

That's a terrific result Rachel!!  I know the worries will lurk and come to the fore every time you have a check up, but with time, they'll become less scary.

Hope all goes well with your career choice too!!
