Had mole removed and recently got lab results. Seems I'm in the lucky 3% that get melanoma! Hey, wish I could do so well on the lottery.
Never mind, seems to have all been removed, just precautionary excision required. No problem. Except... Ooh the doctor said, that doesn't look quite the ticket, perhaps it's not all gone, better get you in asap and do that excision pronto.
So now I'm in the two week waiting period, while my unwanted friend enjoys it's new lease of life and makes hay, who knows where.
Oh, and did I tell yous all I'm a coward? Died many deaths in the past: AIDS, cancer etc, etc. But this time, somehow, amazingly, it's actually REAL.
