Hi everyone - I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? Finished chemo 7 months ago following colon cancer surgery (stage 2 tumour), lymph nodes clear but some 'veinous incursion', therefore chemo given as 'belt and braces' to hopefully protect me for the future. Was considered 'low risk' and felt confident. However, CT scan has shown a small nodule and node on the site of the surgery, therefore another scan in 3 months to see if it has grown or not. If grown then possibilities are more surgery and/or more chemo. My blood test was normal, I have put on rather than lost weight and am feeling increasingly better than I have felt for several years (apart from when I overdo things and feel exhausted - but I'm told this is normal up to about a year following treatment). Reading other people's blogs, I feel that I have a great deal to be confident and thankful for, but, nonetheless, this has come as a shock and sometimes my positive attitude slips! Would be glad to hear from anyone.
