Hi... Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather?
Today i went for re dressing at the walk in centre,... below are the photos
just a warning about tubigrip single or double... well at least in my case... there was nothing between my skin and the tubigrip. so over 2 days of hot weather and the tubigrip moving... a blister happened under one of the peices of micropore holding the pad in place. so when the plaster was taken off, the skin over the blister came off too... see pic! ouch!
otherwise it was the usual prontosan soak for 10 minutes.. then debride and clean. fucibet cream then aquacell ... gauze pads and xupad then smaller pieces of tape ... cotton wool later up the leg and then the double tubigrip..(size G .. yes i have tree trunk legs)
back at the PDC on monday morning at 7am before going to work.
have a great weekend everyone
