not a good result....positive for COLIFORM ANAEROBES AND STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS have been prescribed 3 antibiotics.. CIPROFLOCACIN FLUCLOXACILLIN AND METRONIDAZOLE..also given another 200 co-codomol as i am going through 8 a day and also a box of inodine as this was used at the walk in centre last sunday and seems to be... doing some good in the wound..other than that no problems!!!

Peter I'm so sorry for you. Those drugs are awful and you may have a touch of diareahh! Keep taking the whole course though and, it might be better to have a slice of bread with them so they don't make you feel too sick. I know its not easy for youas you have to pay your bills but try to REST REST REST Ann. ps.You will get there Peter, you have no choice!

Peter, I can't see whether you got my blog to you so just to reiterate I am so sorry you have such a bad infection - those drugs and really heavy guns and not very nice with after effects. I know you have to work to pay the bills but, as its Sunday, REST REST REST. If you have to, go sick tomorrow, you are the only person who can heal yourself and going to work no-one is very considerate, they just want the work done. If you have to get a certificate for a few days, afterall, its not everyday we suffer from cancer, some people have days off for a pimple on their bum! Look after yourself Peter and you will get there, you have no choice. I sincerely hope one day you will look back on this long episode as a bad phase in your life but you got through it and are stronger for the experience. God bless, Ann
