as promised... and by great demand.... here are my lympho stockings! ordered custom made due to my tree trunk calf muscles and general fat! closed toe to knee ... right and left as both have swelling and pain. ordered in black so they look like socks in my shoes!
2nd week back and i guess the wound will heal eventually. personally i cant see much difference between 3 weeks ago and now. the dressing is quite wet at the end of the day but nothing like what i was going through in month 2 post op. painkillers are only just hitting the spot... 25mg of amiltryptaline and 3x 50mg diclofenic..
saw my GP wednesday and he also gave me an Rx for augmentine antibiotics to be taken if i think i need it. i guess we are down to self diagnosis now. same with the dressing... the plastic dressing clinic have signed me off telling me to keep trying with different combinations but to use as little as i need. currently i am using 50/50 then jelonet - gauze to pad out the hole then cover with mepatal then the stocking. lets see in a week.
