Hi everyone...
just to say i havent disappeared! first week in new flat and enjoying it. only 15 mins to work on the bus now opposed to 1 hour 15 mins when i was living in london. flat mates are good and i am settling nicely.
went to my new gp practice yesterday and saw the nurse re dressings. she said there was nothing more she could do and it was now a matter of time, the wound is about 85% healed and it will be another 2 months before it is 100% better.
lymphoedema stocking working ok except on left ankle the stocking is a little tight and forms a balloon of swelling between the ankle and the wound. this is very painful by the end of the day, as if the top of my foot which is also very swollen by the time i get home.
i am disappouinted than the better the wound becomes, the more the pain increases.
hope to be back online by 25th of this month.
hope also everyone is ok....?
peter
