First week back to work

Less than one minute read time.

first week back at work finished. i do hope it gets better. lymphoedema out of control around ankle and feet.. should get the stockings next week... hope they work as i think thats whats stopping the final healing of the wound which doesnt look any better than 2 weeks ago.

spending the weekend relaxing but have only 2 weeks more before i need to move out. looking at a new flat tomorrow... just hope its ok and can move in.. its near to where i work and a lot cheaper. being off work for 4 weeks was a financial disaster!

hope everyone is having a good weekend.

    Hi Peter,

The sooner you get back to work and move into your new flat the better.especially if the new flat is nearer to work.Good Luck.

Take care and be safe Sarsfield.

    Hello Peter,

Just wanted to wish you all the very best in your new flat...you'll soon be settled in. And...less time spent travelling to work is always a plus in  my eyes..!! I'm glad you're back at work...some normality, and will hopefully stop the financial disaster in its' tracks..!

I too have Lymphoedema in my leg and foot, but due to very different circumstances...nothing as traumatic as you. But the stocking is a God send..! My leg is always hot/heavy/uncomfortable and my foot especially is painful in my heel and ankle. The stocking has helped me so much...and had reduced the swelling by the first six month check up. I also have a blue gel pad in the heel of my shoe...which makes it much more comfortable too...don't know if that's anything that would help you..?

Anyway Peter, I'm wishing you all the very best...and would be nice to hear how you get on when you're stocking arrives..! I wish you continuing recovery, take care. Jane x

Good luck with the new flat Peter, hope your stocking arrives soon and, once you have settled in your new flat/work things will become easier for you.  You really have been through the mill but at least you're coming out the other end now, even if it seems to taking a long time.  Take care, Ann
