DRESSING CLINIC 19TH MAY (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

Less than one minute read time.

Good evening

Things look as though they are healing well but I am getting a lot of pain from the top 1/4th of the wound.

Now on diclofenic and amitriptyline so lets see if that calms it down a bit.

still doing the protosan soaks every nigth and redressing the usual way. got to try and get appointments with the practice nurse but im working full throttle again... guess thats what the healing is taking time...

wish i could be patient more!!!

thanks for looking

Good morning Peter, although you probably won't read this until this evening after work!  Yes you answered your own concerns, full throttle on a body that's been in a car crash will take longer and, yes that's why you are in pain.  Pain tells us something is wrong - so rest!  Easier said than done when the billls have to be paid I know but at least you know that's why your body is kicking back at you.  Try and rest the weekend as much as poss with the leg elevated - are you allowed to let the air get to  your wound yet?  Ask the nurses, as if you can put your leg up without dressing for an hour or two it might be a good thing - as long as its not down the pub - its in your own domain.  Take care, you will get there in the end Peter.  God bless
