Angels by Moonlight
A gentle light across a darkened room,
Is it an angel or is it the moon.
Watching it carefully will it stay?
Lights flickering and curtains sway.
What can it be so perfect in form?
Leaving no shadow from dusk until dawn.
I'm lying so still scared to yawn
seems like forever Waiting for morn.
Don’t want to scare my angels away,
Need them forever with me to stay.
