So we cancelled the visit, this was mainly due to the weather, it looks set to be awful here, so best for everyone to be in their own homes. Pulled the plug this morning so we all know what we are doing. We all bawled a bit and there were choice words about the situation.
No doubts though it was the best decision for everyone. Not only we would be cooped up. The wind speeds overnight will make it sound like like the roof and solar panels are going to blow off. They are not going to but it doesn't make for restful sleep conditions
Kit doesn't always sleep well, while they are familiar with here , it is different so can be more unsettled overnight here than at home,so Dana would have to manage that as well as not sleeping well herself.
Having my downstairs bedroom is my advantage here, as well as the ability to sleep through most things.
Now making hunkering down plans, I should be able to eat a broader range of things, so thinking what I may be to treat myself with.
