1 minute read time.

Due to sleeping through a med slot last night but not too late to take when I woke up for a pit stop earlier on, so the wait was a better one this morning.

Pain levels are variable. Something good has happened though , it means that for stretches of time the  base level of pain is significantly lower and I am very pleased with this.

As good as that is I am still not feeling that I have moved into a consistent recovery mode, I am still weak, not able to eat properly, mobility is really restricted. I am upset by all of this in bursts, frustrated and peed off. While I can see progress I'm still feeling very off course .

Other times, pain relief is good, can be comfy sitting, I have got to the back garden, just being outside is an uplift. I have been doing some steps while there. It's been important to mobilise and there has been relief from doing that. There has been a kick back from that later on but yesterday that was much less so it's not so much a dread. So all that feels good. Ups and downs.

Poor Dana has been struggling with sleep but we made the most of us being awake at the same hours, putting the world to rights and pics of hair curling round two. The end result looks good, she is getting the hang of it. As I haven't heard from her this morning I am hoping this is because she is getting a decent length of some quality sleep.

I fell asleep late afternoon, have looked out the window and the car is back from the MOT. That's a big relief, sometimes it takes a while to get parts if needed. It is a good little car, meets our needs and can handle winter. The frosts are now heavy when they come.

I hope you have a good day for you
