A few years Jeff brought a small patch of woodland, which are part of a bigger patchwork of woodland which is very protected. It's a place of special significance to him and us. Long covid took the woods from me and that shared future that we thought we had. Now we have the cancer to deal with.
Jeff has had an injury which means he has not been able to do any work for a period of months but has been able to visit. There are also emotional and psychological aspects to going to woods. These woods are a place of solace and happiness but for him sometimes intense sadness and that can stop him from going. This is painful
He has been a couple of days this week, it is perfect weather for this time of year and beautiful Autumn out there. He has come back so happy , full of woods stories and I love it.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
