Yesterday was a slog for the most part. pain levels are reduced but still quite high at times and being comfy sitting up was harder over the day. Was very fatigued which does nothing for posture. Paracetamol does little to nothing for my everyday pain, what I have noticed for this back pain it seems to do a lot, so max dose, 4 times daily. I was only taking three, the extra one and having it on a schedule has helped overnight
There was such a dramatic change when something in my back came good, that was a real up but then there was a bit of a bump down as things are still hard.
Sometimes I just write off a day as one i can't quite get the hang of, yesterday was one of those,so just get through it and enjoy the highlights, work on being more prepared for the next day. I do feel more prepared today. There are times it is best for me not to push. Today is one where I need to give myself a little chivvying along at times.
I have tried the paracetamol first on waking to good effect. This is a good insight. Now I am getting in scheduled morning meds which includes codeine which has a good but short acting effect. I am in a fit state to have a coffee and feeling quite comfy.
I have been reading around this site, not commenting, finding my way round different places, reading other peoples experiences and trying to get a general idea of what the etiquette is. I have so far been making a better use of my like button.
I hope you have a good day for you.
