Today I drove M** to Burton Hospital, where she had a CT scan. The purpose of this scan was to scan M**’s chest. This is to see whether or not the cancer has spread to her chest and lungs. There is still a chance that this might not be cancer. But Nurse Kelly did say they will treat it as though M** does have cancer, instead of waiting for results. This way, if it is cancer, we will see what options we have sooner than later.
