On the twelfth day of Christmas
My Onco’ offered me…
Twelve lymph-nodes hosting,
Eleven radio’s toasting,
Ten short hairs boasting,
Nine deep veins hiding,
Eight cells dividing,
Seven nails all cracking,
Six chemo’s smacking…
Five co’old things…
Four sleeping pills,
Three night chills,
Two morphine thrills,
And a sponge where my boob used to be…
It is Christmas and ten years ago I was about to be diagnosed with breast cancer (6th January 2005) so here is my “carol” for thanksgiving…
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
