I've just caught up on your blog, having been a bit preoccupied the last few weeks. I see you're due surgery on 30/12, that looks good to get 2025 out of the way and look forward to 2026 which should be brighter for you as the days and weeks pass and you recover.
Surgery is a nerve wracking experience in the days before you have it, I was petrified (had right lung removed in 2014) but it was nothing like as bad as I imagined.
