What the FEC .. The story continues

Less than one minute read time.

Good morning, here we are now day 11 post chemo numero uno and I'm entering the "danger zone",  ..... breaks into the song "highway to the danger zone" from the film top gun I think it was.........

Uber cautious about people with coughs colds etc. Don't worry abouth the walking, talking, backchatting 10 year old bug factory that we have residing in our little sanctuary called home.

Alcogel hand gel at the ready ..... do I need full on hazchem suit you see on tv??  would a bee keeper suit suffce? or will that be a bit of over kill?

But in all seriousness it its the time I have to be a little more aware of my surroundings just in case.

still feeling fine in myself now that the day 3,4,5 symptoms have worn off.

still got my hair.

Oh and joy of joys I got a period. the first one since May! I was enjoying not having them!

So basically its normality in the household. Yay!!!!!

So enough procrastinating on here chatting I best move my butt and get some housework done.  well maybe just one more cup of tea first ..............

    Hi Shezza1,

Loved your upbeat post! Way to go!

I had 3 FECing chemo sessions over the summer & it really wasn't that bad, so you can totally do this. Taking all the meds helped me (Emend, Metoclopramide etc) and the worst bit was loss of appetite / feeling constantly like you've just had a massive Christmas dinner, so annoying but could be worse, I suppose.

Hope your hair situation stays the same. Fingers crossed for you from a baldy (very powerful) & good luck with everything. Sending you an imaginary chocolate biscuit to go with that cup of tea.
