So, Tuesday 3rd June, I had my catch up & chat appointment with oncology. Told her about my day out with suspected sepsis with my 1st chemo... That shocker, were mouth ulcers like I suspected. She told me off and prescribed lidnocaine mouthwash. Jeez, that stuff numbs your mouth. BUT seeing as it was prescribed on the Tuesday, why was I waiting a extra TWO hours, a day later to collect it? As per, NOBODY was called to collect the entire time!
Wednesday 4th June was my 2nd chemo. Appointment was 12:30, infusion actually started at nearly 3pm. I know drugs need to be mixed/prepped/cooked ??? But over 2 hours delay... PLEASE?!
Then the afore mentioned delay for the previous days prescription. Luckily bus & train to home station arrived barely quickly. Then the 35 minute delay for a every 10 minutes bus actually home....
Why am I surprised?
My hair has officially decided to vacate the premises? On Friday it started. It continued on Saturday. Sunday NEARLY all gone. I just wish it would get all gone. I'm fed up of hair leaking everywhere and blocking the shower!
Is that weird? To want it COMPLETELY GONE?
Keep well everyone (and that's a order!) Love & hugs xxx
