My wife been diagnosed with bowel cancer with secondary cancer to the liver , spleen and lymph nodes on the 29th december we were told at a meeting with the surgeon who carried out the colon removal that it is terminal due to the places it spread to. Tthey are dumbfounded by the cancer in the spleen as they have not come across it before, however we did have a car accident in August 2015 which caused a lot of bruising to her abodmen so they think it could have come from that. She is having her PICC line fitted on wednesday ready for the 12 cycles of chemo so we will be back and for hospital every week as they are giving antibodies as well as the chemo a long journey ahead . We were also told her life expectancy is around 3 years. Thats the bit I really find hard as we only got married in June2016 wanted 30 years not 3.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
