Hi ladies. Came home from hospital this afternoon. I had my hysterectomy on Tuesday morning. As a precaution I was transferred to ITU for the night and then back to ward. I could not believe how little pain I was in and just had paracetamol. Had more discomfort after visit to dentists! Now have to wait for results which might be here next week. Had visit from my Macmillan nurse too. She has been wonderful and so supportive. I just hope that it's good news, but taking each day as it comes. To any ladies out there worrying about painful operation and being bed ridden for a week, please don't, I've had a little walk about, slept, sat, eaten, slept etc. I just wanted to get that off my chest, as last Friday I was a complete jibbering wreck and completely wrong to get into such a state. Night God bless you lovely ladies.
Olga xx
