Just a quick update, today has been much better than yesterday, we had a nice meal at our neighbours last night, although back home and ready for bed by 10pm. Not like the 'before' days when we'd come home in the early hours, but we will get those days back I hope. My neighbour had breast cancer six years ago and she lives life to the full.
So this morning I got up after a rubbish nights sleep, hot flushes and painful joints, I did feel much better though, we took advantage of the sunny morning and went for a good dog walk, I felt I needed to get out and move a bit. It was lovely but it did tire me out, so I've been very lazy this afternoon, my throat is feeling better, still sore but manageable. The aches are slowly wearing off.
One lovely thing that happened is that hubby said we could take advantage of a break in the holiday bookings and visit our daughter and grandson tomorrow for a few days. I know I get a bit scared about going away between chemo sessions but we had 15 days away after the last chemo and it was fine, so we will go and I will be careful. When we come back there won't be many chances to get away until Autumn so it'd be silly not to go.
Stop this ride...I want to get off!!!
