I said at the end of the last entry that I hoped I wouldn’t have to update my blog as I’d come to the end of my treatment, but I just wanted to pop a quick note on the end, just to say that a year on since the start of treatment I just had my first mammogram and ultrasound since the operation in April and everything was fine. I am obviously over the moon and very very thankful.
A year ago I didn’t know in what direction my life was going. In a way I still don’t, but one thing I’ve learned over the last year is to cherish every day, to cherish your family and those friends who are still with you at the end of your treatment, those who stuck with you and helped you along the way, because they are precious, when people give you their time they are giving you something they will never get back, these people are the ones to hold on to and to be thankful for and to spend your precious time with.
Good wishes and luck to everyone here.
