Ok, so 4 days after receiving the news "theres traces of cancer in the biopsy"... how am I feeling?
Well its all happened so fast, referred to consultant after problems eating and swallowing and some wheezing, met consultant on Weds 24th Aug, op on 2nd Sept.
Follow up apt Mon 12th Sept. That's when I heard the news.
So, quickly following on are appts for an MRI scan, CT scan and an apt to see another consultant next week. Its happening very fast, is that a good or bad sign?
MRI scan earlier today...I had a sob to the nurse who was lovely. The scan itself wasn't too bad, bit strange but the radio was on ( radio 2, Jeremy vine.... and the topic was erectile disfunction caused by cancer)... almost laughable!
The worst bit was an injection of a dye - Im such a girly wimp and HATE injections!
So that's where I'm up to... lets see what Monday brings....
