    Morning Jan,

Sorry to see you joining us here and reading about your 'other half'

There is a Head and Neck Group (link) here you should join and post this question to as a New Discussion to get experienced replies from those in similar situations.

Do state which area of his throat is involved though as there are quite a few separate places within the throat where cancer can be diagnosed (top of oesophagus, larynx, thymus etc) and treatment can vary. May also be worth mentioning what type of treatment he is going to be having too, in case another member has had, or is having the same ?

There are always several posts about diet, feeding tubes in that group, so you won't have to wait too long to get some replies.

Hope this helps you settle in and get some answers Jan.

    Take care, G n' J
