Travel insurance

Less than one minute read time.

My mum and I would like to go on a cruise this year around the Med.She has a brain tumour and she is currently on a break from chemo for 3 months.Every travel insurance company is refusing her insurance which is so unfair!!! Has anyone managed to get insurance for this type of cancer?

There is this very extensive (11 pages) Blog about Travel Insurance (link) with recommendations from other members you can read through.

I think the biggest issue insurance companies have with cruises is that if anything did suddenly occur onboard it would mean an expensive helicopter medivac flight to a land based hospital.

Hope you find something in the blog that helps, take care, G n' J

I have tried many insurers for a weeks holiday in Spain. I have 3 carcinoid tumours and recent bowel resection op. Some would not insure me. Some were extortionate. Insure pink insured me for £88! Over £1000 cheaper than the rest. Worth a try if anyone looking xx
