Welcome to the Mac Community.  Eating issues can be a problem with oesophageal cancer. Thankfully you are not alone with this as there is an active Oesophagus Group(link) you can join and ask this question to. You will soon get some pointers and advice from those having the same problems.

There is also a very active Carers Groupwhere you can get some support from other carers and offload to on any bad days - as someone has to care for the carer too.

When you join either or both groups just select the new discussion button and post an introduction asking any questions you may have.
