Good Weekend

1 minute read time.

beacopp day 7 cycle 2. Just the normal blood test ahead of chemo day 8 tomorrow.

sunday had tickets to watch Ireland v France at millennium stadium. took dad and a couple of uni friends, the original plan was for a lads weekend so had hostel booked 4 bed dorm at YHA. Early train, it is packed 90+% in green. get to the tunnel and then we get stuck, they need to detach and reattach the back 2 carriages (which we are on). 45 mins later and we aren't on the move again, big sigh!

only hour late into Cardiff, quick checkin and lunch at hostel. Can't believe they have TV in room and everything. Off to the game and the atmosphere is spectacular, love the millennium stadium. Great game, and big performances from all the Irish, well deserved.

next some food and few games of table football at Wahaca, misspent youth came of use. Back to hostel at9 and bed by 11. apart from the boys, hostel bar shuts at 2 so they go to casino and then back just before 5. Thoroughly enjoyed, but definitely feel like I had to hold back. Although not sure I would make it much past 12 on a good day.

Head shave.

So Steve at work had entered the london marathon to raise money for worldwide cancer research, https://www.justgiving.com/NoviaFinancial/

Part of which a few crazy individuals optionally (some may have been persuaded under the influenc) agreed to get their head shaved to help Steve reach his target and keep him motivated for training over the winter months. Well they went through with it raising lots of money for this great charity, and looking good? so just wanted to say thanks for their support. was great fun watching
