Hi I am looking for some help and advice. I was diagnosed with a 'type'of inflamatory arthritis over 2 months ago and been in morphine since for pain, and now on a chemo drug to they and get the pain under control. I also have had a red spot on my hip for about 2 years which I decided to have removed. It has been confirmed as Basal Cell and my Doctor has referred me to a specialist as he says a lot more has to be removed. My concern is that because I have had this spot so long.. Is the 'inflamatory pain' I'm in actually a secondary cancer from the Basal cell? I am beside myself with worry. My Doctor has referred me for an urgent dermatologist appointment but I've not heard anything back over a week later. I'm contemplating going private as the worry is making me more I'll. Any help please??
