I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in October of last year I am 71 and had part of my small bowel and gall bladder removed in late November it has took me some two months to get back into a routine of doing school runs walking my sons two dogs and pottering on my allotment. But I am doing self injections of lanreotide every 28days which saves trips to the hospital and on my 5th self injection I find not to hard to do,my appetite has returned and have but on 5 kilos since coming out of hospital CT scan in April to see if injections is helping. I have always been a very positive person which helps. They are some great people out there working on this terrible decease.
